StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier banking client to identify an accomplished Cloud Operations Engineer to join their team on a hybrid basis in Charlotte, NC. This long-term contract engagement presents an exceptional path for a dedicated cloud professional to drive operational excellence, elevate system resilience, and refine cloud governance within an enterprise setting. Partnering directly with StaffRight Associates, you will play an instrumental role in shaping infrastructure visibility, reinforcing cloud security posture, and optimizing cross-functional release processes.

What You’ll Do

• Architect and elevate cloud-native security protocols alongside proactive monitoring frameworks to safeguard assets and expand real-time telemetry.

• Troubleshoot intricate deployment breakdowns in close alignment with Development and Quality Assurance teams to streamline continuous integration and delivery across all staging areas.

• Champion infrastructure stability initiatives through the creation of holistic alerting mechanisms that catch operational bottlenecks prior to system impact.

• Maximize resource efficiency and system uptime by continuously auditing and refining cloud platform performance metrics.

• Synthesize robust application and data transmission pipelines across cloud platforms to facilitate seamless software distribution and data delivery.

• Resolve complex system alerts, operating system event logs, and infrastructure anomalies to sustain uninterrupted enterprise services.

• Enforce rigorous organizational cloud standards through active collaboration with specialized information security units.

• Articulate technical strategy, deployment rationale, and cloud methodologies clearly across diverse stakeholder groups, spanning individual contributors through senior executive leaders.

What You Bring

• Four To Five Plus Years of dedicated experience supporting and engineering enterprise platform solutions within Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.

• Foundational Expertise in broad infrastructure domain concepts, including Server Fleet Management, Virtual Environment Administration, Domain Name System, Network Routing Protocols, and Firewall Architecture.

• Advanced Capability in PowerShell Scripting for operational automation, alongside functional mastery of AWS CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit, and AWS Systems Manager Documents.

• Comprehensive Grasp of foundational Cloud Architecture Principles, encompassing continuous resilience, high availability, elastic scalability, and multi-region deployment topologies across isolated development and production environments.

• Proven Mastery in implementing Infrastructure As Code practices alongside modern CI/CD Deployment Tools.

• Core Technical Knowledge surrounding end-to-end network communications, internet protocols, Serverless Architecture Patterns, and foundational Cloud Security Practices.

• Demonstrated Aptitude for rapidly absorbing complex architectural landscapes and adapting to shifting cloud paradigms.

• Exceptional Communication Skills across varied technical spectrums, with a strong inclination toward Technical Leadership and cross-functional team collaboration.

Compensation & Total Rewards

Pay Range: $53.00 - $58.00 per hour.
