Job Title: Software Developer II (AI/ML - Agentic Systems)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Software Developer II with strong expertise in AI/ML engineering and agentic systems. This role focuses on designing and building intelligent, scalable AI-driven applications using modern frameworks, autonomous agents, and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience developing production-grade AI systems, integrating large language models (LLMs), and ensuring governance, security, and performance optimization.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven applications and autonomous agent workflows
- Build and implement RAG solutions using vector databases
- Develop and integrate LLM-based solutions via APIs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, data, and UX
- Implement AI governance, safety controls, and content filtering mechanisms
- Optimize AI/ML models for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency
- Ensure secure handling of sensitive data (PII/PHI)
- Contribute to system architecture and technical design decisions
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or advanced data science
- Proven experience building and deploying autonomous agent systems
- Strong expertise in context engineering
- Hands-on experience with frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, or AutoGPT
- Experience implementing RAG architectures using vector databases
- Proficiency in Python and AI/ML libraries (OpenAI, Hugging Face, Azure AI, etc.)
- Experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs) via APIs
- Knowledge of AI governance, model lifecycle management, and evaluation techniques
- Experience with Model Context Protocol (MCP) or similar frameworks
- Understanding of data privacy and secure data handling practices
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience building multi-agent or autonomous workflows
- Familiarity with LLM optimization (token usage, latency, cost control)
- Exposure to enterprise AI deployment and scalability patterns
