Hybrid Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in Westlake, TX

Our client seeks a Senior Systems Analyst to support Workplace Investing Digital Platforms Technology. The role will collaborate with a Scrum team to define scope, analyze requirements, document user needs, and support delivery of scalable digital solutions. The position emphasizes API-oriented solutioning, strong SQL, and clear documentation. The analyst will partner with product owners, developers, QA, architects, and peers to deliver stable features, mentor analysts, and improve processes in a fast-paced environment.

Rate: $45.00 to $55.00/hr. w2

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Senior Systems Analyst on a Scrum team to craft, build, test, and deliver features for digital experiences.
  • Collaborate with squad lead, scrum master, developers, QA, and architects to define scope and backlog.
  • Interview business partners to understand objectives, use cases, and requirements.
  • Research and document existing systems, recommend designs, and produce supporting documentation.
  • Diagram business processes and system workflows.
  • Convey technical concepts to internal customers and technical contributors across the organization.
  • Support QA and business partners through testing phases, including triage of defects.
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to other systems analysts.
  • Contribute to scalable, maintainable solutions with a long-term mindset.

Experience Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience with a focus on financial services applications.
  • Proficiency with SQL and database query tools.
  • Strong skills in analysis, business requirements gathering, and documentation.
  • Experience communicating technical needs to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Understanding of Agile software development methodology.
  • Ability to troubleshoot, solve problems, and make timely decisions in ambiguous situations.
  • Experience with web and mobile application architecture and emerging technologies.
  • Ability to influence team members and external groups and work constructively in person and virtually.
  • Nice to have: Technical analysis of web concepts (Spring MVC, Spring Core, XML, CSS), Java, Confluence, strong SQL, CMS experience, finance domain exposure, and working understanding of QA automation.

Education Requirements:
  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
