Programmer Analyst 6 – Salesforce Developer

Location: Lansing, MI
Work Arrangement: Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday from Day 1

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Developer / Programmer Analyst to support a large-scale Salesforce modernization initiative. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on Salesforce development experience, particularly in Salesforce Classic-to-Lightning migration, Experience Cloud/Digital Experience Sites, and legacy Visualforce portal modernization.

The candidate will work with technical teams, architects, business stakeholders, and end users to design, develop, integrate, deploy, and maintain Salesforce solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, customize, and implement Salesforce solutions based on business requirements.
• Lead and support Salesforce Classic-to-Lightning migrations.
• Migrate and modernize legacy Visualforce portals to Salesforce Digital Experience Sites.
• Develop solutions using Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and Aura.
• Configure Salesforce using Flows, Process Builder, Workflow Rules, and other declarative tools.
• Work extensively with Service Cloud and Experience Cloud.
• Customize GoMeddo Scheduling or similar Salesforce scheduling solutions.
• Develop and maintain solutions using Conga Composer.
• Design and implement integrations between Salesforce and cloud/on-premises applications.
• Develop and consume REST/SOAP APIs and work with JSON/XML.
• Implement authentication solutions including OAuth and SSO.
• Develop Batch Apex and Scheduled Apex solutions.
• Support data migration, data quality, third-party applications, and AppExchange solutions.
• Manage Salesforce development, release, and deployment activities using SFDX and Azure DevOps/CI/CD.
• Participate in code reviews, branching, merging, testing, and deployment.
• Identify technical risks and develop secure, scalable, high-performance Salesforce solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, technical managers, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Create technical documentation and development standards.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition of solutions to Maintenance & Operations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in any field.
• 6+ years of Salesforce development experience.
• 4+ years of hands-on Salesforce development using:
  • Apex
  • Visualforce
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • Aura
  • HTML5
  • JavaScript
• 5+ years of Service Cloud experience.
• 5+ years of Salesforce Experience Cloud/Digital Experience Sites experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Salesforce Classic-to-Lightning migration.
• Experience migrating legacy Visualforce portals to Digital Experience Sites.
• 5+ years of GoMeddo Scheduling customization or equivalent scheduling product experience.
• 5+ years of Conga Composer experience.
• 3+ years of Salesforce Lightning/LWC experience.
• Strong experience with SFDX and Salesforce development lifecycle.
• Experience with REST/SOAP APIs and third-party integrations.
• Experience with OAuth and/or SSO implementations.
• Experience with Salesforce data migration and integration projects.
• Experience with Azure DevOps or comparable CI/CD and release-management tools.

Preferred Qualifications

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II.
• Salesforce Experience Cloud Certification.
• Salesforce Platform Developer I.
• Salesforce Certified Administrator.
• Experience with Health Cloud.
• Experience working with government or highly regulated environments.
• Familiarity with FedRAMP-compliant environments.

Work Arrangement

• Hybrid position based in Lansing, Michigan
• Must be available onsite Tuesday and Wednesday from Day 1
• Candidates must be located within 90 miles of Lansing, MI
• Second-round interview will be conducted in person
