Logistics Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator)

Location: Jacksonville, IL
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Logistics Warehouse Associate (Forklift Operator) to join our warehouse team. This position is responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments, operating a forklift, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are delivered to retail locations efficiently and accurately. The ideal candidate is organized, safety-focused, and enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process inbound shipments.
• Prepare, pick, pack, and ship outbound orders accurately and on time.
• Operate a forklift safely to move materials throughout the warehouse.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through daily cycle counts.
• Assign and update warehouse bin locations for inventory.
• Work closely with Purchasing and Inventory Control to resolve freight and inventory issues.
• Assist retail locations by ensuring timely and accurate product fulfillment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Use warehouse computer systems, phones, and other equipment as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous shipping, receiving, warehouse, or inventory experience preferred.
• Forklift experience required; certification is a plus.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems effectively.
• Excellent attendance and reliability.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Frequent walking, standing, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
• Ability to work safely in a warehouse environment.
