Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Varicent ICM Developer / Lead Developer to support and enhance Incentive Compensation Management (ICM) applications. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience in Varicent development, production support, compensation plan configuration, ELT processes, and system enhancements.
This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders, operations teams, and technical teams to ensure smooth commission processing, system stability, and continuous improvement of the Varicent platform.

Key Responsibilities

Production Support & Operations
Manage production support activities for Varicent ICM applications.
Monitor daily/monthly commission processing runs and ensure timely execution.
Troubleshoot and resolve data, calculation, payout, and reconciliation issues.
Ensure data integrity between source systems and Varicent outputs.
Handle incident, problem, and change management tickets in SLA-driven environments.
Support month-end activities including lock/unlock cycles and validations.
Perform root cause analysis and provide long-term fixes for recurring issues.

Development & Enhancements
Design and implement enhancements in compensation plans, rules, workflows, and reports.
Configure and maintain Varicent components including Composer, Workflow, Web Forms, and Web Reports.
Develop and support ELT pipelines and pipe configurations.
Improve system performance through optimization and tuning.
Participate in release management, deployments, and production migrations.
Create technical documentation, test cases, and deployment plans.

Required Skills
5+ years of hands-on experience with Varicent ICM platform.

Web Reports
Web Forms
Configure
Workflow
Schedule Modules
Pipe Configuration (ELT)
Experience in implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement projects.
Strong knowledge of commission processing and Incentive Compensation Management concepts.
Experience in production support and ITIL-based support environments.
Experience with release management and deployment activities.
Ability to troubleshoot complex calculation and payout issues.
Experience creating adhoc reports and data extracts.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills
Experience leading support or development teams.
Knowledge of performance tuning and optimization.
Experience working in Agile environments.
Banking, Healthcare, Telecom, or Sales Compensation domain experience is a plus.
