Job Title – Assistant Director of Nursing ( In-Patient Psychiatric )
Location – New Baltimore, Michigan ( $10K – Relocation $$ Available )
Base Salary – $110,000 – $125,000 ( + $7,500 – Sign on Bonus )

Ideal Candidate:
Candidates must be an RN (LPN’s will not be considered) and must have inpatient psychiatric experience as an RN. Candidates must have RN leadership experience and it’s highly preferred the leadership experience is in the inpatient psychiatric setting. High preference to candidates who have experience working in a union hospital environment as this is a unionized hospital.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Assist the CNO/DON with directing, planning, coordinating, monitoring and supervising the effective and efficient use of the operations of nursing and the delivery of behavioral health/nursing services in a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers. Recognizes that patient safety is a top priority.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree nursing or higher strongly preferred.
- Current registered nursing license in State of facility required
- 5+ Years of experience as a registered nurse.
- 2 years of registered nursing experience required.
- 2 years’ experience in behavioral health as a Registered Nurse.
- 1 year experience in behavioral health/psychiatric/addiction recovery environment
- Prior experience as a nursing manager strongly
- 1 year of progressive leadership or management experience required
CERTIFICATIONS:
- Current RN license as required by state.
- CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required (training available upon hire).
- First aid may be required based on state or facility.
