React Developer (GenAI Prototyping) – 12-Month W2 Contract
Location: Hybrid – Wayzata, MN (onsite as needed)
Pay Rate: $75–$84/hour (based on experience)
Schedule: Standard business hours
About the Role
Russell Tobin is supporting a leading global organization in hiring a React Developer to join an innovative GenAI Discovery and Prototyping team. This role is focused on bridging cutting-edge generative AI prototypes with intuitive, user-facing applications.
You will play a key role in transforming experimental AI capabilities into real-world user experiences, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineers, product managers, and designers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain front-end applications using React
- Integrate GenAI prototypes into scalable and user-friendly interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement new features
- Translate business and user requirements into technical solutions
- Write clean, efficient, and scalable code
- Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance application performance
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience with React and modern front-end development
- Working knowledge of C# and backend integration
- Experience building and consuming APIs
- Solid understanding of software development best practices
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with AI/ML or GenAI-driven applications
- Familiarity with prototyping environments or rapid development cycles
- Experience in enterprise-scale applications
Additional Details
- Hybrid role based in Wayzata, MN
- No weekly onsite requirement, but must be available to come in as needed
