Description

In this pivotal role, you will orchestrate the creation of next-generation sensing, including Health, Optical, Touch and Force, wireless power, and haptics technologies, shaping the technical landscape across Apple's product portfolio to deliver an industry-leading user experience. You will lead the development and integration of advanced sensing systems, collaborating closely with world-class suppliers and multi-functional teams across Apple.

As an Engineering Program Manager, you will drive the full lifecycle of sensing systems and features-from concept to specification, characterization to integration, and validation at both module and system levels. In this capacity, you will serve as the primary bridge for cross-functional communication and along with the engineering manager be the face of the program. Our team cultivates a creative, collaborative atmosphere and values technical curiosity, thoroughness, and engineering excellence. Minimum Qualifications

BS in STEM field (e.g. EE, ME, Physics, etc.) plus relevant experience

Engineering experience in a hardware development environment - Product development, engineering, or program management experience shipping semiconductor, sensing technologies, or hardware systems in any field

Curiosity about and familiarity with AI tools, with interest in applying them to improve engineering and program workflows

Ability and willingness to travel internationally (typically once per year; accommodations available as needed)

Preferred Qualifications

Advanced engineering degree

Experience in consumer electronics

Ability to navigate ambiguity
