Summary
PHP debugging: Debug and resolve complex PHP application issues (PHP 7.x/8.x, Laravel/Symfony) escalated from L1/L2, including code-level analysis and hotfix coordination.
Log analysis & RCA: Analyze application, server, and database logs using CloudWatch, ELK, or Splunk; produce root cause analysis and knowledge base documentation.
Proactive monitoring: Monitor system health on AWS (CloudWatch, EC2, RDS, ECS); configure alerts for error rates, latency, and resource thresholds to detect issues before user impact.
Incident ownership: Own P1/P2 incident resolution end-to-end from triage and stakeholder communication to post-mortem and formal closure in ServiceNow or Jira
AWS infrastructure: Troubleshoot application issues tied to AWS services EC2, RDS, S3, ALB, IAM, and VPC with hands-on experience in cloud-hosted PHP environments.
Requirements: 5+ years in application support with 2+ years at L3; AWS certification a plus; strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
