Software Release Leader

Job Description:

The selected professional will work as part of product development activities to achieve desired software goals, ensure on-time delivery, and maintain proper documentation. Reporting to the Software Release Manager, this individual will serve as the interface between the Software Release Teams, EE Validation, Program Responsible, and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Review incoming software drops and documentation, and resolve issues with the Component Team.
• Coordinate software test timing with Validation and Program Management.
• Follow up on the completion of testing and communicate status to all stakeholders.
• Report progress to completion of the project on an as-needed basis.
• Prepare reports in various formats such as charts, graphics, step charts, and spreadsheets as required by the Software Release Manager for upper management.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Software Developer, Test Engineer, or Systems Engineer.
• Understanding of Software Management best practices, methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Ability to solve problems and work in a collaborative environment.
• Good understanding of electronics (hardware and software).
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Knowledge of software integration and testing.
