Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Engineer / ETL Developer with 10+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable data pipelines and ETL processes. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in SQL, data warehousing, cloud platforms, and modern ETL tools.

Required Skills

  • 10+ years of experience in Data Engineering and ETL Development
  • Strong expertise in SQL, ETL development, and data integration
  • Experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, DataStage, or similar
  • Proficiency in Python, PySpark, or Scala
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform)
  • Experience with data warehouses such as Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Azure Synapse
  • Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and database design
  • Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, or similar big data technologies
  • Knowledge of CI/CD, Git, and Agile methodologies
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize ETL/data integration workflows.
  • Build and maintain scalable data pipelines.
  • Integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise data platforms.
  • Optimize SQL queries and ETL performance.
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance.
  • Collaborate with business analysts, architects, and cross-functional teams.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement performance improvements.
  • Mentor junior developers and follow best engineering practices.
