Join our dynamic team as an Applications Engineer, TECHNICAL ASSISTANCE GROUP - ETO (Engineered to Order) and be part of transforming technical visions into reality! We're looking for bright minds who are ready to dive into the exciting world of high-tech consulting and solution delivery.

What will you do:
  • Design and Quoting of NEW 3 phase Custom Equipment ( 3rd Party and In House ETO) to support our released UPS platforms - This includes but is not limited to Maintenance bypass panels, system bypass panels for Parallel UPS solutions, Custom Battery solutions (VRLA & LiON), Distribution options, etc
  • Creation of Single Line Diagrams in relation to ETO hardware
  • Ability to read and understand Electrical Single line drawings
  • Ability to size circuit breakers in relation to UPS Input and Output switchboards
  • Generating and completing Proposal documentation for Custom ETO Equipment
  • Technical support for custom ETO Equipment
  • Sales support for ETO solutions
  • Documentation for Quoted Equipment including electrical and mechanical drawings as needed

For this U.S. based position, the expected compensation range is $66,000.00 - $99,000.00 per year, which includes base pay and short-term incentive.

The compensation range for this full-time position applies to candidates located within the United States. Our salary ranges are determined by reviewing roles of similar responsibility and level. Within the salary range, individual pay is determined by several factors including performance, knowledge, job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Schneider Electric also offers a comprehensive benefits package to support our employees, inclusive of medical (with member reward points), dental, vision, and basic life insurance, Benefit Bucks (credits to apply towards your benefits) flexible work arrangements, paid family leaves, 401(k) + match, well-being and recognition (including service anniversary) programs, 12 holidays per year, 15 days of paid time off per year (pro-rated in the first year of employment based on start date), opportunity to purchase company stock (eligibility depends on start date), and military leave benefits.

  • Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
  • 1+ years of work experience with the ability to read and understand electrical single line drawings
  • Ability to size circuit breakers in relation to UPS Input and Output switchboards
