Summary
Title: Site Reliability Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Onsite)
Duration: 12-18 months (Mid Term)
Note: A Senior-level SRE / DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on PagerDuty expertise who can lead the migration from Moogsoft to PagerDuty, redesign incident management workflows, configure event orchestration, and integrate existing observability/monitoring tools.
Primary recruiting priorities:
- Deep hands-on PagerDuty experience, including architectural design, event routing, and advanced configuration.
- Experience with Moogsoft, particularly clustering, Situation Room, and ingestion logic.
- Strong understanding of observability/monitoring ecosystems and how monitoring platforms integrate with incident management.
- Experience integrating tools such as Datadog, New Relic, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch with incident management platforms.
- Experience configuring PagerDuty Event Orchestration, deduplication, and alert suppression.
- Ability to build incident response workflows, on-call schedules, escalation policies, and ChatOps integrations.
- Scripting proficiency in Python, Bash, or Go for PagerDuty API/custom integrations.
- Terraform/IaC experience for PagerDuty configuration is highly preferred.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing PagerDuty configurations using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
