The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of a new Fiserv DNA implementation focused on Certificates of Deposit (CDs) and High-Yield Savings (HYS) accounts.

This role requires a hands-on testing professional with deep expertise in core banking systems, specifically Fiserv DNA and its surrounding ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and executing comprehensive test scenarios and cases for both back-office and front-office functions, validating everything from product configuration to end-to-end customer journeys.

Perform hands-on testing of the Fiserv DNA core banking platform, focusing on back-office operations and front-office customer-facing functions.
Validate the configuration of deposit products (CDs, HYSAs) based on the defined product matrix, including rates, tiers, fees, and posting logic.
Conduct end-to-end testing across the entire solution, including customer channels, third-party integrations, and the General Ledger (GL) interface.
Identify, document, and manage defects throughout their lifecycle using standard test management tools (e.g., Jira). Participate in defect triage meetings to ensure timely resolution.
Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and project stakeholders to ensure testing activities align with business requirements and technical specifications.
Contribute to the creation and maintenance of an automated regression test suite using frameworks like Playwright.
Provide support during the User Acceptance Testing (UAT) phase, assisting business users and troubleshooting issues.
Prepare and deliver clear test execution reports and contribute to quality assurance metrics and dashboards.
Must-Have Skills & Experience
Core Banking Expertise: 5+ years of QA experience within the banking industry, with a strong understanding of deposit products (Certificates of Deposit, Savings Accounts), customer onboarding, account servicing, and transaction processing.
Fiserv DNA Experience: Proven, hands-on experience testing the Fiserv DNA core banking platform. Must be proficient in navigating DNA and validating its configuration and functionality.
Fiserv Ecosystem Knowledge: Experience testing integrations between Fiserv DNA and its surround systems (e.g., digital banking front-ends, API layers like SymXchange, third-party services).
End-to-End Testing: Demonstrated experience in planning and executing complex end-to-end test scenarios that span multiple systems and integrations.
Test Case Development: Expertise in analyzing business requirements and technical design documents to create comprehensive and effective test cases.

Preferred Qualifications
Experience with test automation tools and frameworks, particularly Playwright, Selenium, or similar.
Proficiency in API testing using tools like Postman or SoapUI.
Basic SQL skills for database validation and querying.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Familiarity with test management software such as Jira and Zephyr.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Conduct thorough testing of software applications to identify defects, bugs, and usability issues
Document and track defects, and work with the team to resolve them in a timely manner
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred, not required
Proven experience as a QA Tester or similar role
Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes
