IT Recruiter

Job Title: IT Recruiter / Technical Recruiter Location: Reston, VA Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated IT Recruiter to manage the full recruitment lifecycle for technical positions. The ideal candidate should have experience sourcing IT professionals, understanding technical skill sets, and working closely with hiring managers to fulfill staffing requirements in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and recruit IT professionals using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, ATS platforms, networking, and referrals
• Manage full-cycle recruiting including sourcing, screening, interviewing, scheduling, offer negotiation, and onboarding
• Work closely with hiring managers and account managers to understand technical hiring requirements
• Screen resumes and evaluate candidates based on technical and functional skills
• Build pipelines for technologies such as Java, .NET, AWS, Azure, DevOps, Cloud, Cybersecurity, Data Engineering, and AI/ML
• Coordinate interviews and maintain communication with candidates throughout the hiring process
• Maintain candidate records and recruitment metrics in ATS systems
• Negotiate compensation, rates, and employment terms with candidates
• Ensure compliance with company policies and federal hiring guidelines
• Participate in career fairs, networking events, and recruitment campaigns

Required Skills

• Strong understanding of IT technologies and technical roles
• Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, Dice, Monster, CareerBuilder, and ATS tools
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong sourcing and networking abilities
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple requirements simultaneously
• Experience in contract staffing or federal hiring is a plus
• Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, IT, or related field
• 1 5+ years of IT/Technical recruiting experience
• Experience recruiting for Software Engineers, Cloud Engineers, DevOps, Cybersecurity, Data Engineers, or related technical roles
