Title: Junior Buyer

Location: Indianapolis, IN (Onsite)
Pay: $21/hr

Duration: 12 months contract

Position Overview

The Junior Buyer supports the Purchasing Operations Center (POC) in a structured procurement environment. This role focuses on administrative purchasing tasks, vendor communication, invoice resolution, and workflow coordination.

This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for candidates who are organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, process-driven setting.

Basic Qualifications

• Associate s degree + 4 years of experience, OR Bachelor s degree + 0 1+ years of experience, OR 8+ years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions
• Manage and prioritize daily workflow tasks through completion
• Monitor and report task progress
• Support supplier negotiations as needed
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures
• Resolve blocked or stalled invoices
• Manage supplier communications and documentation
• Support Global Vendor Master data management
• Process Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs)
• Issue Requests for Quotes (RFQs)
• Update and revise Purchase Orders (POs)
• Manage shared task request inbox
