MuleSoft Engineer

Role Overview

The client is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Engineer to design, develop, and manage enterprise APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. This role will be responsible for building scalable integration frameworks, ensuring API security and performance, and supporting cloud-based integration initiatives across complex enterprise environments. The position is based in Atlanta, GA  and the job is open to candidates within the 100 miles radius of Atlanta, GA.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement APIs and integration solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint Platform.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Develop reusable, scalable integration frameworks, templates, and API assets.
• Ensure API quality, security, performance, and compliance with established standards and best practices.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API and integration performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including API specifications, integration designs, and data flow diagrams.
• Support deployment, maintenance, and production operations of MuleSoft integrations.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, SOAP services, and integration solutions using RAML and MuleSoft components.
• Develop architectural strategies for data modeling, metadata management, operational data stores, and ETL environments.
• Support CI/CD initiatives and DevOps practices for MuleSoft development and deployment.

• REST, SOAP, RAML, and OpenAPI Specification (OAS) – 5+ years
• MuleSoft API Manager, Runtime Manager, and DataWeave – 5+ years
• Java, XML, JSON, and Related Technologies – 5+ years
• MuleSoft 4.2+ Development Experience – Advanced experience
• API Development, Web Services, and System Integrations – 5+ years
• Technical Design and Requirements Translation – Advanced experience

• MuleSoft 4.3 experience
• RAML development and API specification design
• MUnit test development and execution
