What You Will Be Doing
Oversee engineering and maintenance operations across Fairfield Inn, Hampton Inn and Residence Inn Santa Clarita
Lead, mentor, support, and develop on-site engineering teams, ensuring consistent performance, communication, and brand alignment
Ensure proper functioning of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and life safety systems
Implement, monitor, and improve preventive maintenance programs across all hotels
Conduct property inspections and ensure timely completion of work orders and repairs
Manage department budgets, capital planning, vendor relationships, and project timelines
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, fire codes, and brand standards
Coordinate major repairs, capital improvement projects, and long term maintenance planning
Respond to escalated maintenance emergencies and provide hands on support as needed
Maintain strong communication with hotel General Managers and regional leadership
Promote a culture of safety, teamwork, and operational excellence

What Makes You You
Previous Chief Engineer or hotel engineering leadership experience required
Experience managing or supporting multiple properties preferred
Extensive knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills
Organized, dependable, and able to manage multiple priorities across several locations
Ability to work hands on when necessary and guide teams effectively
Strong understanding of safety, fire codes, and regulatory compliance
Valid driver's license required
Must be flexible to work any shifts, including weekends and holidays
