Position Title: SharePoint Administration and User Support
Client: State of MN- Minnesota Judicial Branch
Type: Contract- Nov 17, 2025 – Jun 30, 2026 (Not to Exceed 1500 hours)
Location: Hybrid (90% remote) – Hennepin County Government Center, Minneapolis, MN
Hours: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM CST
Project: SharePoint Migration Effort to Support the Sunset of PsychPoint for the 4th District
Job Description:
Business Need: The Minnesota Judicial Branch (MJB) is migrating multiple SharePoint 2019 on-premises sites to SharePoint Online (M365) as part of a project to retire the “PsychPoint” platform for the 4th District.
Project Deliverables
• Migrate multiple SharePoint sites from On-Premises 2019 to SharePoint Online (Cloud).
• Support migration validation, user access, and content governance.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop and execute migration plans for designated SharePoint sites.
• Maintain communication with project stakeholders and ITD Manager.
• Prepare project activity plans, schedules, and regular status updates.
• Adhere to Minnesota Judicial Branch technical standards and templates.
• Maintain professional conduct and abide by all MJB rules and policies.
Required Qualifications and Skills
1. Core SharePoint Knowledge
• Deep understanding of SharePoint Online architecture (sites, hubs, tenants).
• Knowledge of Modern vs Classic experiences.
• Expertise with PowerShell (PnP, SPO cmdlets), lists, libraries, metadata, permissions.
• Familiarity with records management, retention, and compliance policies.
2. Front-End Development
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript, React (SPFx), responsive design.
• Debug and optimize front-end code for SharePoint Online.
3. SharePoint Framework (SPFx)
• SPFx web parts, extensions, application customizers.
• Node.js, Gulp, Yeoman toolchains.
• Integrate Microsoft Graph API and REST APIs.
• Manage packaging, deployment, and ALM in SharePoint Online.
4. Back-End and Integration
• C#/.NET Core, REST API, CSOM/JSOM.
• Integration with Microsoft Graph and Azure AD.
• Power Automate workflows, webhooks, Azure Functions.
5. Microsoft 365 Ecosystem: Integration with Teams, Power Platform (Apps, Automate, BI), OneDrive, Exchange Online, and Viva Connections.
6. Cloud & DevOps
• Azure services (Functions, Logic Apps, Key Vault, Storage).
• CI/CD via Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions, Git source control.
• Performance monitoring and diagnostics.
7. Security & Compliance
• SharePoint permissions, inheritance, and governance.
• Conditional Access (Azure AD), eDiscovery, retention, and sensitivity labels.
8. Administration & Governance: Site provisioning (PnP templates, site designs), hub site hierarchy, usage monitoring.
9. Testing & QA: Unit, UI, and load testing; automated regression testing.
10. Soft Skills
• Strong problem-solving, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commitment to keeping current with Microsoft roadmap and best practices.
