Role Overview:
We are seeking a Lead DevOps Engineer to design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform). This role requires strong expertise in automation, CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and cloud native operations. The ideal candidate will lead DevOps practices, ensure platform reliability, and guide the team in delivering secure, compliant, and high performing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Architect and manage Google Cloud Platform cloud infrastructure for enterprise applications.
Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments.
Lead containerization and orchestration using Kubernetes (GKE).
Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) with Terraform or equivalent tools.
Ensure observability through monitoring, logging, and alerting frameworks.
Drive security, compliance, and governance across cloud environments.
Mentor and guide DevOps engineers, fostering best practices and continuous improvement.
Required Skills:
Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services.
Hands on experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
Proficiency in Kubernetes (GKE) and containerization (Docker).
Experience with Terraform or other IaC frameworks.
Knowledge of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Stackdriver).
Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
Solid understanding of cloud security and compliance frameworks.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in multi cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
Familiarity with service mesh (Istio, Linkerd) and advanced orchestration.
Exposure to DevSecOps practices.
Leadership experience in guiding cross functional DevOps teams.
