Summary

IT Incident Manager needed for an immediate 6-month contract role to cover EST hours for our direct client in the insurance domain.

No 3rd party candidates will be considered

Support development of incident and change management policies and processes with technology stakeholders.
Facilitate technology groups cross-functional interactions ensuring strong partnerships during business impacting events.
Manage and establish incident bridges, inter-technology group and customer facing communications, using ITSM platform and all appropriate communication tools.
Ensure incident life cycle is effectively managed, including identification, containment, mitigation, and resolution.
Drive Root Cause Analysis and identify subsequent people, process, or technology updates to prevent recurrence, and track.
Monitor ServiceNow for potential systemic issues impacting teammate productivity.
Identify Incidents/Requests that require manual interaction for efficiency improvements using automation, or adjustment of processes.
Review ITSM platform (ServiceNow) survey responses to identify causes for both CAST score reduction or increase, and drive needed improvements within IT.
Support change management processes to minimize potential for incident impact.
