Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong Android expertise to work on Android Automotive OS (AAOS) and projection systems (e.g., Android Auto/CarPlay-like platforms). The role involves API and UI test automation, debugging, and ensuring high-quality performance of automotive infotainment applications.

Key Responsibilities

Automation & Testing

Design, develop, and execute UI and API automation test cases
Perform end-to-end testing for Android/AAOS-based applications
Validate REST APIs and HTTP-based services
Develop scalable automation frameworks

Android / Automotive Testing

Test applications on Android OS and Android Automotive OS (AAOS)
Validate projection systems and infotainment applications
Ensure compatibility across devices, OS versions, and environments

Debugging & Troubleshooting

Analyze logs and debug issues using Android debugging tools
Identify root causes of failures in UI/API layers
Work closely with developers to resolve defects

CI/CD & Tools

Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab)
Use tools like Git, JIRA for version control and defect tracking
Support continuous testing and release cycles

Required Skills

Core Skills

Strong experience in Android testing (Java/Kotlin)
Hands-on with API testing & UI automation
Knowledge of HTTP/REST protocols
Strong debugging and problem-solving skills

Tools & Technologies

Automation Tools: Appium, Selenium, Espresso (preferred)
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab
Tools: Git, JIRA

Domain Knowledge

Experience with Android Automotive OS (AAOS) or projection systems (preferred)
Understanding of mobile/embedded systems testing

Preferred Skills

Experience in Automotive / Infotainment domain
Knowledge of CarPlay / Android Auto ecosystems
Exposure to DevOps practices

Experience Required

6-8 years of experience
Minimum 4+ years in Android / Mobile QA
