Role Overview

We re looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join an established automation team focused on building and scaling tools that generate large, data-driven test reports. In this role, you ll work on enhancing an existing framework that produces complex Word-based reports (200 400+ pages) using templates, automated data extraction, and dynamic formatting for charts, tables, and graphs. The foundation is already in place, so your focus will be on improving, scaling, and optimizing the solution to support a growing number of reports. You ll collaborate closely with software developers and RF engineers, helping translate technical data into structured, high-quality outputs while also guiding junior team members and contributing hands-on to development.

Responsibilities

Review code and identify gaps between implementation and business requirements
Enhance and maintain automated report generation using templates and data-driven logic
Work closely with software and RF engineering teams to define report structures and data inputs
Contribute as a hands-on senior developer while mentoring junior team members
Manage and improve code within existing environments like Visual Studio, Azure DevOps, and GitHub
Debug, refactor, and optimize code to improve performance and scalability

Skills Required

Strong experience with JavaScript, TypeScript, and HTML
Solid full-stack development background
Experience with code reviews, debugging, and improving existing codebases
Familiarity with Node.js or Electron.js is a plus
Ability to work with data-heavy applications and transform data into structured outputs
Exposure to AI coding tools like GitHub Copilot is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work collaboratively
