VP of Project Management (Manufacturing)

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce's client, a rapidly growing manufacturing and infrastructure-focused organization in McKinney, TX, is seeking a senior executive leader to oversee and scale its enterprise-wide project management function. This role is responsible for driving execution excellence across complex, high-value, multi-site initiatives that support operational growth, expansion, and client delivery.

Summary:
The VP of Project Management will establish and mature project governance, standardize methodologies, and build a high-performing project management organization capable of delivering results with speed, discipline, and quality. This role partners closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams-including operations, engineering, supply chain, finance, and HR-to ensure strategic initiatives are prioritized, resourced, and executed effectively. This position requires a hands-on leader who thrives in fast-paced, high-growth environments, brings structure without bureaucracy, and can balance strategic vision with operational execution.

Duties:
* Overseeing planning, engineering coordination, procurement, budgeting, risk management, and delivery of large-scale programs
* Providing visibility and transparency through scalable reporting systems; serving as executive sponsor for key initiatives
* Leading change management efforts tied to systems, processes, and technology adoption

REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree required; Advanced degree preferred
* Professional certifications such as PMP, PgMP, or equivalent strongly preferred
* 15+ years of progressive project management experience, including senior leadership responsibility for large, complex, cross-functional initiatives
* Proven success building, leading, and scaling high-performing project management teams
* Deep expertise in project governance, portfolio prioritization, risk management, budgeting, and resource allocation
* Strong executive presence with the ability to influence, negotiate, and align stakeholders at all levels
* Experience leading multi-site or enterprise-wide projects in manufacturing, energy, infrastructure, or similar operational environments
* Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in high-growth or transformation-driven organizations
* Excellent communication skills, with a track record of driving accountability and results
* Strength in change management, process improvement, and operational discipline

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
