Job Description:

Experience Required

• 13+ years of development and application modernization experience
• Experience hosting and configuring applications on IIS
• Strong background in modernizing applications to Azure PaaS and migration projects
• Expertise in application hosting, configuration, and optimization using Azure PaaS services:
  • Azure App Service
  • Azure Functions
  • Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)
  • Azure Container Instances
• Ability to understand application architecture, dependencies, and integrations
• Leadership experience managing teams of 5+ members
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to explore alternate solutions
• Very good understanding of application migration scenarios and pathways

Primary Skills

• Hands-on web application development experience
• Experience developing and hosting applications on Azure PaaS
• Basic database skills (connectivity, configuration, etc.)
• Ability to analyze application dependencies
• Collaboration with Enterprise Architects, Data Platform, DevOps, and Integration teams to ensure cloud adoption best practices
• Experience in containerizing web applications (frontend + services)
• Strong understanding of hosting containerized applications on Kubernetes
• Application performance assessment (pre- and post-migration)
• Ability to ensure solutions align with Azure strategy, stakeholder needs, and business/application/infrastructure requirements
• Designing Azure Landing Zones and target-state solution architecture
• Understanding of customer infrastructure landscape

Secondary Skills

• Ability to work with internal stakeholders, customer stakeholders, and Project Managers to understand migration needs
• Troubleshooting experience with Azure PaaS platforms
• Basic understanding of containerization and AKS

• Ability to prepare and deliver solution presentations
