Shaw Industries is seeking an Industrial Engineer to lead process improvement initiatives across our Samples Division. In this role, you'll use data, analytics, and continuous improvement principles to reduce waste, improve efficiency, optimize workflows, and support key business decisions. You'll collaborate with leadership, engineering, operations, and supply chain teams to deliver measurable results.

What You'll Do
  • Analyze costs and identify savings opportunities across the Samples Division.
  • Develop, track, and communicate operational and financial performance metrics.
  • Establish labor, time, and performance standards.
  • Support operational and capital budgeting processes.
  • Improve material flow, capacity utilization, and supply chain efficiency.
  • Lead cross-functional projects from planning through implementation.
  • Analyze business challenges and recommend process improvements.
  • Evaluate capital and expense projects and determine financial impact.
  • Partner with teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence.

What You'll Bring
  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field
  • Experience leading or supporting process improvement projects.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to interpret complex data and make business recommendations.
  • Understanding of budgeting, costing, and financial performance metrics.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, databases, and other business software.
