Traveling Data Center Technician - Entry Level (Battery Swap)
We are hiring entry-level technicians for a traveling data center battery swap role supporting multiple data center locations . This is an excellent opportunity for candidates interested in high-voltage and low-voltage work who want hands-on experience-no prior experience required.
Travel & Schedule:
This role requires weekday travel to different data centers in surrounding areas of Athens, OH. Technicians typically travel on Mondays and return home on Fridays, ensuring you are always home on the weekends. Drive time is paid, and a $50 per diem per day is provided while traveling.
Responsibilities:
Technicians will assist with battery swap projects in data center environments, working with both low-voltage and high-voltage systems. Duties include following safety procedures, assisting senior technicians, using basic tools, and supporting project completion at each site.
Qualifications:
This is an entry-level position, and no previous data center or electrical experience is required. Candidates must be reliable, safety-focused, able to travel during the week, and willing to learn in a hands-on environment.
Compensation & Benefits:
Paid drive time, daily per diem of $50, weekday travel with weekends at home, and training provided on the job.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
