Senior DevOps Engineer CI/CD & Automation

Job Summary
We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer CI/CD & Automation with deep expertise in automation and orchestration tools to help design, build and optimize scalable pipelines and automation frameworks. This role will focus on improving software delivery efficiency, standardizing deployment practices and enabling engineering teams to adopt consistent, reliable automation patterns across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings strong experience in continuous integration, pipeline engineering, infrastructure automation and developer enablement. This person will work closely with application teams, platform engineering and architecture partners to create reusable delivery capabilities and improve release quality, speed and consistency.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent practical experience
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps, build and release engineering
• Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD platforms, automation tools and deployment orchestration solutions
• Strong scripting skills in one or more languages such as Python, Bash, PowerShell or Groovy
• Strong hands-on experience with infrastructure and configuration automation tools
• Experience building and supporting build automation pipelines in enterprise environments
• Experience with source control systems such as Git
• Experience with build tools and automation frameworks
• Experience with cloud and hybrid infrastructure environments
• Understanding of software delivery lifecycle, release processes and deployment strategies
• Strong troubleshooting, communication and collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated deployment pipelines using industry-standard orchestration tools
• Develop and manage infrastructure and configuration automation using enterprise automation tools
• Standardize pipeline templates, workflows and engineering guardrails across teams
• Improve build, test and deployment automation to increase delivery speed and reliability
• Partner with development, platform and release teams to support onboarding to shared CI/CD capabilities
• Troubleshoot pipeline, deployment and automation issues across environments
• Create reusable automation components and best practices for engineering teams
• Support secure, scalable and resilient software delivery processes
• Monitor pipeline performance and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and developer experience
• Document standards, patterns and operational procedures for CI/CD and automation
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to engineers adopting pipeline and infrastructure automation solutions

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience integrating automation pipelines with testing, security and artifact management tools
• Experience with Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI or similar pipeline technologies
• Experience with infrastructure as code practices
• Experience supporting shared platform capabilities for multiple engineering teams
• Familiarity with policy, compliance and governance controls in CI/CD environments
• Experience in financial services or other highly regulated environments
