Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Define and design end-to-end application architecture using Java technologies

• Lead architectural decisions for microservices, monolithic, or hybrid systems

• Establish coding standards, design patterns, and best practices

• Review and approve technical designs, code, and system integrations

• Guide development teams on architecture implementation and optimization

• Design secure, scalable, and highly available systems

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and DevOps teams

• Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies

• Ensure performance, security, and compliance requirements are met

• Mentor senior and junior developers

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Java (Java 8+) and J2EE technologies

• Deep understanding of Spring, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud

• Experience designing microservices architectures

• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, SOAP, and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

• Expertise in design patterns, SOLID principles, and OOP concepts

• Experience with databases (Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform)

• Proficiency with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

• Strong understanding of security standards (OAuth2, JWT, SSL)

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture

• Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Angular)

• Experience with performance tuning and scalability optimization

• TOGAF or similar architecture certifications
