About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee electrical construction projects within affordable housing developments. This role is responsible for managing projects from preconstruction through project completion, ensuring work is delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and in compliance with all applicable standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring strong electrical construction expertise and a proven track record of successfully delivering affordable housing or multifamily residential projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Lifecycle Management: Manage electrical construction for affordable housing from inception through completion.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with clients, field teams, subcontractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders.
  • Financial & Schedule Oversight: Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and cost forecasts; oversee estimating, procurement, and contract administration.
  • Compliance & Quality: Ensure compliance with electrical codes, project specifications, and safety regulations; conduct regular jobsite visits to monitor progress and quality.
  • Risk & Documentation: Manage project documentation (RFIs, change orders, submittals) and identify project risks to implement proactive solutions.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong experience in electrical construction, electrical contracting, or electrical engineering.
  • Proven project management experience with budgeting, scheduling, and financial oversight.
  • 5+ years of experience managing affordable housing projects.
  • 5+ years of electrical estimating experience.
  • Demonstrated success managing electrical construction projects from preconstruction through completion.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with multifamily residential and affordable housing developments.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical system design, installation, and code compliance.
  • Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
  • Familiarity with California construction regulations and permitting processes.
