Position Overview
As a Salesforce Architect within a product company, you will design and own the architectural blueprint for scalable and maintainable Salesforce solutions across Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and CPQ. You will ensure the platform supports product ecosystem, integrates with internal and external systems-including finance platforms and legacy environments-and aligns with a long-term strategy.
Experience with Salesforce AI or third-party AI integrations is a strong plus.
This role requires a hands-on architecture leader who can guide development teams, collaborate with product stakeholders, manage complex integrations, and produce clear technical documentation for all delivered solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect end-to-end solutions across Sales, Service, Experience Clouds, and CPQ.
- Design scalable data models, integration patterns, and security frameworks, including portal user security models for Experience Cloud.
- Oversee Service Cloud capabilities such as Email-to-Case, email services, Knowledge, Entitlements, SLAs, and case routing strategies.
- Ensure robust reporting and analytics architecture, optimizing dashboards, reporting models, and data visibility.
- Evaluate and enable AI-driven capabilities using Salesforce AI Cloud, Einstein, or third-party AI tools.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation: architecture diagrams, sequence diagrams, data flows, integration mappings, and solution designs.
- Lead design workshops with product managers, engineering, and cross-functional teams.
- Establish governance standards for metadata structure, coding practices, testing, documentation, and release processes.
- Manage multiple integrations with external finance systems, legacy platforms, and internal product systems.
- Support DevOps and CI/CD pipelines; Gearset experience is a plus.
- Conduct design and code reviews; mentor developers and admins on best practices.
Required Qualifications
- English level B2 or higher (mandatory).
- 8+ years of Salesforce experience, including at least 3 years in an architect or technical lead role.
- Hands-on expertise with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and working knowledge of CPQ.
- Strong knowledge of Email-to-Case, custom email services, Knowledge, entitlements, SLAs, Experience Cloud user access, and reporting frameworks.
- Proven experience designing integrations with finance systems and legacy (old) environments.
- Expertise in Apex, Lightning Web Components, Flows, APIs, and scalable architecture.
- Experience with CI/CD and DevOps practices, preferably using Gearset.
- Strong documentation skills for complex architectural solutions.
- Experience in a product company or SaaS-oriented environment is beneficial.
Preferred Skills & Certifications
- Salesforce Application Architect or System Architect certifications.
- Salesforce CPQ Specialist certification.
- Experience with AI features (Einstein, Salesforce AI Cloud, or external AI tools).
- Familiarity with middleware (Mulesoft, Boomi, Jitterbit, etc.).
- Experience implementing Experience Cloud with complex sharing models and delegated administration.
