Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior SAP ABAP & Fiori Lead to support an active SAP S/4HANA environment. This is a hands-on technical leadership position focused on stabilizing SAP operations, supporting critical integrations, resolving production issues, and driving modernization initiatives involving SAP BTP, Fiori, and S/4HANA.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on ABAP development and integration expertise, along with the ability to independently lead technical initiatives and collaborate with AMS and business teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Stabilize the existing SAP landscape and manage day-to-day technical operations.
• Lead S/4HANA technical initiatives involving SAP BTP and Fiori.
• Own SOA management and support enhancements for Esker AP Automation integration.
• Provide technical support for SAP upgrades, including code remediation and upgrade readiness analysis.
• Perform code analysis using ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) and PRIME+.
• Partner with the AMS team to troubleshoot and resolve critical production issues across SAP S/4HANA and ECC.
• Design, develop, enhance, and maintain SAP ABAP applications and integrations.
• Support modernization and technical improvement initiatives across the SAP landscape.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on SAP ABAP development experience.
• Excellent knowledge of Object-Oriented ABAP (OO ABAP) and modern ABAP syntax.
• Strong experience with BAPIs, RFCs, IDocs, and custom enhancements.
• Hands-on experience with OData services and SAP Web Services/API integrations.
• Experience with BAdIs, workflows, CDS Views, and AMDP.
• Strong understanding of S/4HANA development and extensibility.
• Experience with SOA-based integration and support models.
• Hands-on experience using ABAP Test Cockpit (ATC) for coding standards and upgrade readiness.
• Experience troubleshooting SAP production issues across S/4HANA and ECC.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Skills

• Experience with Embedded Steampunk / Developer Extensibility.
• Knowledge of C1 contract objects.
• Hands-on experience with RESTful ABAP Programming Model (RAP).
• Strong understanding of the ABAP backend and its integration with Fiori Launchpad and Fiori Elements.
• Experience developing CDS Views with UI annotations for Fiori/OData applications.
• Experience with SAP BTP modernization initiatives.
