Job Summary

As a Junior Frontend Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining modern React-based user interfaces while collaborating with senior engineers to build scalable web applications.

Job Duties

(50%) Front-End Application Development

• Develop and maintain modern front-end applications using React.js and TypeScript
• Build reusable, responsive user interface components using HTML5 and CSS3
• Consume REST APIs using Axios or Fetch and display API data within the application
• Work with JSON data structures and integrate backend services into the UI
• Collaborate with senior engineers to implement new features and enhancements

(25%) Application Integration & Collaboration

• Implement front-end functionality using asynchronous programming patterns including Promises and async/await
• Debug application issues using browser developer tools
• Participate in code reviews and incorporate feedback from senior engineers
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams in an Agile development environment
• Learn and contribute to modern front-end development practices

(25%) Engineering Excellence

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
• Use Git for source control, including branching, merging, pull requests, and collaboration
• Follow established coding standards and engineering best practices
• Participate in testing, debugging, and issue resolution
• Continuously developing technical skills and contributing to team knowledge sharing

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
• 1-3 Years professional experience developing front end applications.
• Strong understanding of React.js, JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3.
• Experience with Typescript
• Experience consuming REST API's using Axios or Fetch
• Comfortable working with JSON data and API responses.
• Understanding of asynchronous programming, such as promises, async/await
• Familiarity with common data structures including Arrays, objects, maps, sets
• Experience with common Git commands such as push, pull, merge, fork, clone
• Basic debugging skills using browser developer tools.

• Experience with Next.js
• Experience with Tailwind
• Experience with Claude Code/Codex
• Understanding of micro frontend architecture
• Understanding of module federation
• Experience with AWS Amplify/ Cubernetes/Docker
• Experience working in an Agile environment
• Understanding of responsive design

Salary Range
$80,000.00 - $110,000.00

A successful applicant's actual base salary may vary based on factors such as individual's skill sets, experience, training, education, licensure/certifications, and qualifications for the role.
