Key Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using enterprise tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, and Terraform Enterprise.

  • Troubleshoot pipeline failures and continuously optimize performance, reliability, and execution efficiency.

  • Develop and standardize reusable CI/CD templates and promote engineering best practices across teams.

  • Support migration from legacy CI/CD tools to modern platforms and GitOps-based workflows.

  • Provision and manage cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) technologies such as Terraform and CloudFormation.

  • Ensure consistency, stability, and scalability across development, testing, and production environments.

  • Support AWS cloud platforms and containerized applications using Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Plan and execute application deployments with minimal downtime and operational risk.

  • Monitor systems and pipelines, investigate incidents, and perform Root Cause Analysis (RCA).

  • Integrate security controls and compliance checks into CI/CD pipelines using DevSecOps practices.

  • Manage secrets, credentials, and access controls in accordance with enterprise security standards.

  • Collaborate with engineering, SRE, and security teams to improve system reliability and software delivery processes.

  • Develop and maintain full-stack applications, APIs, and automation services using modern programming frameworks, ensuring seamless integration with CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and enterprise platforms.

  • Design, build, and optimize developer self-service tools, internal platforms, and automation solutions using Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, or similar technologies to improve engineering productivity and operational efficiency.

  • Leverage AI/ML-driven tools and automation to improve pipeline efficiency, anomaly detection, incident response, and operational insights.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in DevOps, Cloud Engineering, Platform Engineering, or related roles.

  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar platforms.

  • Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code, with Terraform preferred.

  • Strong experience with AWS and cloud platforms.

  • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker.

  • Strong programming skills in at least one language, preferably Python or Java, with a software engineering/developer mindset.

  • Ability to design, develop, test, debug, and optimize scalable applications, APIs, automation frameworks, and platform services.

  • Proficiency in scripting using Python, Bash, or similar technologies for automation.

  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Splunk, Prometheus, Grafana, and CloudWatch.

  • Strong understanding of system reliability, deployment processes, production support, and troubleshooting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Kubernetes, including EKS or similar orchestration platforms.

  • Experience within financial services or other highly regulated environments.

  • Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as SOC 2 and NIST.

  • Knowledge of modern deployment strategies, including blue/green and canary deployments.

  • Experience with DevSecOps practices and security tools.

  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments.

  • Experience with full-stack application development using modern frontend frameworks and backend technologies.

  • Experience with GitOps tools and practices.
