Job Description
We are seeking a SAP Finance Functional SME to join our dynamic Deloitte project team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in SAP FI with cross-functional expertise in CO, PS, MM, and SD and a proven ability to implement, optimize, and support SAP solutions across mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and configure SAP modules to meet business requirements and improve system functionality.
- Analyze business processes and recommend SAP solutions aligned to program and finance objectives.
- Create and maintain documentation for configurations, customizations, and functional specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve SAP application and integration issues across FI, CO, PS, MM, and SD.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide functional leadership through project execution.
- Lead SD data conversion workstreams, including mapping, mock loads, validation, and reconciliation.
- Support Managed Programs and Earned Value life cycle processes with PS configuration and cross-module integration.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Primary skill: SAP FI at advanced level with 6-9 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience across FI, CO, PS, MM, and SD modules with proven integration knowledge.
- Multiple SAP migration life cycles with SD data conversion for Contracts, Customer and Material Master, billed history, and data validation.
- Proficiency in sales order and contract setup, delivery, billing processes including resource-related billing and sales/use tax.
- Ability to organize and lead multi-disciplined teams and meet program milestones through testing and remediation cycles.
- Strong working knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards, FAR, GAAP, and SOX controls.
- Excellent communication, independent work style, and comfort addressing unfamiliar challenges.
Preferred Skills:
- Aerospace and Defense billing experience and working proficiency with DoD DFARS billing regulations.
- Experience supporting United States user communities for Managed Programs and Earned Value processes.
