Job DetailsThis is a senior backend role focused on designing and scaling the core infrastructure behind an AI-driven platform. You'll work across data pipelines, APIs, and distributed systems that power real-time intelligence and decision-making at scale.
What You'll Be Doing
- Architect and build backend services using Go and/or Python
- Design and scale data ingestion and processing pipelines handling large, complex datasets
- Develop APIs that support real-time, high-throughput applications
- Partner closely with ML/AI teams to bring models into production systems
- Own system reliability, performance, and scalability (observability, fault tolerance, etc.)
- Drive key architectural decisions and contribute to long-term platform design
- Mentor engineers and help define backend best practices
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of backend engineering experience building production systems at scale
- Strong experience with Go and/or Python
- Deep understanding of distributed systems and microservices architecture
- Experience working with both SQL and NoSQL databases
- Familiarity with Kubernetes / containerized environments
- Strong system design skills - ability to balance performance, scalability, and maintainability
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous startup environments
Nice to Have
- Experience with real-time data processing or streaming systems
- Exposure to vector or graph databases
- Familiarity with modern AI/ML concepts (RAG, NLP, forecasting, etc.)
- Experience integrating ML models into production workflows
