Job Description:
  • The Senior Staff Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex software systems while ensuring high-quality, secure, and scalable solutions.
  • This role requires strong expertise in system architecture, database programming, and modern development practices.
  • The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to technical design decisions while following Agile methodologies and secure coding standards.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in software engineering and programming.
  • Strong understanding of object-oriented programming concepts.
  • Proficiency in at least one object-oriented programming language such as Java or C.
  • Experience with system architecture, database programming, and web application development.
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines and Agile development methodologies.
  • Ability to apply secure coding practices and troubleshoot complex technical issues.
Responsibilities:
  • Authorize code releases to production ensuring applications are secure and ready for deployment.
  • Perform complex software architecture design, system analysis, development, and programming tasks.
  • Investigate defects, verify bugs, and support release testing processes.
  • Participate in technical design discussions and contribute to solution architecture.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for specific components across multiple products or solutions.
  • Assist with design, implementation, and documentation for ongoing development projects.
  • Research and develop solutions for issues identified by quality assurance, professional services, or customer support teams.
  • Conduct unit testing and integration testing to ensure system functionality and reliability.
  • Continuously improve development practices and stay updated with industry best practices.
  • Collaborate with development teams and stakeholders and participate in Agile development ceremonies.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and support their professional growth.
  • Work with modern application technologies including web frameworks and APIs.
Should Have:
  • Experience with front-end frameworks such as React.
  • Experience in full lifecycle software design and development.
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker.
  • Experience with cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services or Microsoft Azure.
  • Experience integrating systems using tools such as MuleSoft.
  • Familiarity with secure coding practices such as OWASP Top Ten guidelines.
  • Experience using source code control systems such as Git and issue tracking tools such as Jira.
  • Exposure to machine learning, large language models, or large-scale data processing environments.
Skills:
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Software architecture and system design expertise.
  • Strong collaboration and mentoring abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to design secure and scalable applications.
Qualification And Education:
  • Bachelor s degree in Computer Science or a related technical field.
  • Master s degree in Computer Science or a related field is preferred.
  • Professional experience in software design, development, and architecture.
