Job Description:

• We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Consultant Blue Yonder TMS with a minimum of 5+ years of direct, hands-on implementation and configuration experience in Blue Yonder TMS.
• This is a specialized role exclusively for professionals with proven Blue Yonder TMS expertise.
• This individual will lead solution definition, requirements gathering, configuration, integration design, and support activities. Additionally, this role will be responsible for training and upskilling the current team to build internal Blue Yonder TMS capability.

Core Responsibilities:

Blue Yonder TMS Implementation & Configuration (Primary Focus)

• Lead full lifecycle implementations of Blue Yonder TMS, including design, configuration, testing, and deployment.
• Define, scope, and document detailed business and technical requirements.
• Translate transportation business processes into scalable BY TMS configurations.
• Configure core modules including planning, optimization, rating, tendering, execution, and settlement.
• Design and validate system integrations with ERP, WMS, and external systems.
• Lead system integration testing (SIT), user acceptance testing (UAT), and go-live activities.
• Identify configuration gaps and recommend scalable solutions aligned with best practices.

Solution Architecture & Integration

• Design and document integration architecture.
• Lead API configuration and testing efforts.
• Ensure data mapping, transformation logic, and interface validation are clearly defined.
• Assess technical complexity and define realistic implementation timelines.

Requirements Definition & Documentation

• Conduct detailed discovery workshops with business stakeholders.
• Produce high-quality functional and technical design documentation.
• Define scope boundaries and manage change control processes.
• Translate business needs into structured configuration specifications.

Support & Continuous Improvement

• Provide post-go-live production support for BY TMS.
• Troubleshoot configuration, integration, and process issues.
• Perform root cause analysis and recommend sustainable solutions.
• Support enhancements, optimization initiatives, and system upgrades.
• Maintain system documentation and knowledge repositories.

Internal Team Training & Capability Development

• Develop structured training programs for internal team members.
• Conduct hands-on configuration workshops.
• Create reusable documentation, configuration guides, and best practices.
• Mentor junior team members to build internal BY TMS expertise.

Mandatory Requirements

• Minimum 5+ years of direct, hands-on experience implementing and configuring Blue Yonder TMS.
• Proven experience leading at least 2+ full lifecycle BY TMS implementations.
• Deep functional knowledge of transportation planning and execution processes.

Strong experience in:

• Configuration of BY TMS modules
• Integration design and documentation
• API testing and validation
• Requirements gathering and solution scoping
• Experience supporting BY TMS in a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a consulting or supply chain transformation environment.
• Experience integrating BY TMS with ERP platforms (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and WMS (Manhattan & Blue Yonder).
• Strong documentation and business analysis skills.
• Ability to lead workshops and executive discussions.

Skills & Competencies:

• Strong technical and functional understanding of transportation management systems.
• Ability to define scope clearly and prevent scope creep.
• Excellent written documentation and process mapping skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities.
• Ability to train and mentor teams effectively.

Education:

• Bachelor s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Information Systems, or related field.

Advanced degree preferred but not required with strong relevant experience.
