Senior Java Developer
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise-scale applications within a highly visible technology organization. This role will focus on building scalable, distributed, low-latency applications and real-time processing solutions. The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on Java development experience and a strong background in enterprise application development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain enterprise applications using Java 17+, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
  • Participate in technical design and architecture discussions.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and enterprise integrations.
  • Build and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and database transactions using Oracle or similar relational databases.
  • Develop scalable, distributed applications with a focus on performance, resiliency, and reliability.
  • Support real-time processing, application monitoring, and performance optimization.
  • Implement automated testing using JUnit, Cucumber, or similar frameworks.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production support.
  • Collaborate with architects, developers, and business stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Required Qualifications
  • 8+ years of enterprise software development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Strong hands-on experience with Java 17+ and Spring Framework/Spring Boot.
  • Extensive experience with distributed systems, microservices, and enterprise application development.
  • Experience developing REST APIs and working with SQL, stored procedures, and relational databases such as Oracle.
  • Experience with PySpark, Snowflake, or other large-scale data processing technologies.
  • Understanding of application scalability, observability, monitoring, and real-time processing.
  • Experience with automated testing frameworks such as JUnit or Cucumber.
  • Strong communication and technical problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Kafka, MQ, or other messaging technologies.
  • Cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
  • Familiarity with Kubernetes, Docker, and containerized applications.
  • Experience with Linux scripting, automation, and NoSQL databases.
  • Enterprise production support experience.
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled development tools such as Windsurf or OpenSpec.
  • Financial services industry experience.
