Pay Range: $ 55 - $ 60/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain high-performance backend systems using Java and Spring Boot.
- Implement microservices architecture to enhance system scalability and maintainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Utilize MongoDB for data storage and retrieval, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate deployment processes.
- Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
- Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs in the application.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve development practices.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- Strong proficiency in Java programming language.
- Extensive experience in developing microservices using Spring Boot.
- Proficient in MongoDB, including schema design, indexing, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development.
- Experience with modern CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) for deploying applications.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
- Understanding of security best practices in API development.
- Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven track record of successful backend development projects.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
