Seeking an experienced AWS RDS DBA (PostgreSQL) / Cloud Database Operations Engineer to manage the reliability, performance, security, backup/recovery, and operational support of enterprise Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL environments.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on PostgreSQL DBA experience.
- Extensive experience with Amazon RDS for PostgreSQL.
- AWS cloud infrastructure, networking, IAM, security, and monitoring.
- Database performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Multi-AZ, Read Replicas, Backup/Restore, PITR, and DR.
- CloudWatch and Performance Insights.
- SQL optimization, indexing, locking, replication, and connection management.
- Strong production support and incident management experience.
- Automation using Python, Terraform, or AWS Lambda.
