Education Requirements


  • High school diploma or GED required.

  • Technical training in metal fabrication, machining, or manufacturing is a plus.


Experience Requirements


  • Minimum 3 years of experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a metal fabrication manufacturing environment.

  • Experience setting up and operating mechanical or CNC press brake machines.

  • Ability to read blueprints, engineering drawings, and production specifications.

  • Experience using calipers, tape measures, and other precision measuring tools.


Preferred Qualifications


  • Strong knowledge of bending, punching, forming, and sheet metal fabrication processes.

  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment and tooling issues.

  • Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

  • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

  • Experience with production tracking, routing documentation, and preventive maintenance.


Physical Capabilities


  • Ability to stand for extended periods during the work shift.

  • Frequently bend, stoop, kneel, reach, push, pull, and grasp materials.

  • Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently.

  • Ability to perform detailed inspections and precision measurements.

  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with required PPE.


Job Duties


  • Set up, adjust, and operate press brake equipment to produce high-quality parts.

  • Perform blanking, bending, punching, and forming operations on various metal materials.

  • Select and install tooling, ensuring proper machine setup and product accuracy.

  • Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments to meet quality standards.

  • Complete production documentation, update work orders, and move materials through the manufacturing process.

  • Perform routine equipment maintenance, report mechanical issues, and follow all workplace safety procedures.
