Technical Product Manager

Candidate Requirements

• 5-8 years of experience preferred; strong technical background required
• Experience in data science, machine learning, or data platforms is a plus
• Startup experience preferred; avoid big tech backgrounds

Technical Skills

• Experience with AWS, Golang, Python, Postgres, OpenSearch, and Redshift
• Understanding of data pipelines and internal tooling PM experience

Company Context

• Product function reports directly to the CEO
• Team is deeply cross-functional; involves engineering and data science

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Strong technical background, startup mindset, and collaborative
• Founder experience or entrepreneurial mindset is a plus

Seniority

• 5+ years of experience PM,​ founder,​ or equivalent cross-​functional product role (Judge on executive presence and ownership,​ not years)

• Work experience

• Must already be BOTH a real engineer-​type and an experienced PM.​ Prior engineering title required (SWE,​ DS,​ ML eng,​ or highly technical data analyst)

   

Resume must show both big data product work and internal tooling experience with specific projects named

• At least 1 year at a Series B/C startup;​ current or most recent role must be at a startup,​ not big tech

• Data pipeline experience required:​ production-​level work with data ingestion,​ cleaning/normalization,​ and modeling with specific tools cited

• Python and AWS familiarity required;​ big data tooling (Spark,​ Databricks,​ BigQuery,​ Snowflake,​ or Redshift) must be explicitly named on resume
