Job Title: Bioprocess Manufacturing Technician

Job Type: Contract
Job Overview:
Pay Range: $20.79hr - $24.79hr
  • Support bioprocess manufacturing operations by operating, maintaining, and cleaning production equipment in a regulated environment.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and compliance standards while contributing to efficient and reliable production processes.
Responsibilities:
  • Follow all safety requirements, cGMP standards, and standard operating procedures.
  • Report safety and environmental incidents including injuries, near misses, and observations.
  • Operate, clean, and sterilize automated production equipment.
  • Perform aseptic operations in small-scale cell culture environments.
  • Maintain cell banks and support seed lab operations.
  • Operate fermenters, centrifuges, harvest systems, and protein purification units.
  • Operate and clean fixed tank and filtration systems.
  • Operate large-scale column chromatography systems.
  • Prepare media and buffer solutions required for production processes.
  • Clean, assemble, and sterilize equipment using glass washers and autoclaves.
  • Execute environmental monitoring activities throughout the facility.
  • Accurately document and record production and operational data.
  • Identify non-routine issues and escalate appropriately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth manufacturing operations.

Qualification And Education:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Preferred degree in Life Sciences, Engineering, or related field or equivalent certification.
Requirement/Must Have:
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and communication.
  • Basic computer literacy with experience in common office tools.
  • Ability to work various shifts and extended hours as needed.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including lifting.
  • Ability to work in cleanroom environments with required protective equipment.
  • Willingness to work with hazardous materials and chemicals.
  • Ability to pass required job-related tests and certifications in a regulated environment.
