The Opportunity
StaffRight Associates is recruiting for a premier industry partner to identify an accomplished Senior IT Business Systems Lead. This critical leadership role will direct strategic technology initiatives, drive system optimization, and spearhead digital transformation across the enterprise. Operating fully on-site in Lockport, NY, the ideal candidate will establish a long-term vision for systems architecture, vendor oversight, and cybersecurity posture while aligning technology investments directly with core business objectives.
What You’ll Do
Architect a multi-year technology vision spanning hardware infrastructure, network architecture, information security, enterprise resource systems, analytics, and user support mechanisms aligned with enterprise targets.
Govern third-party managed service providers handling infrastructure management, hardware provisioning, technical support operations, threat monitoring, and system defense metrics.
Champion the ongoing evolution and integration of enterprise platform capabilities to streamline processes, enhance business intelligence, minimize stock carrying costs, and optimize cross-functional workflows.
Establish rigorous cybersecurity controls, threat mitigation protocols, data recovery contingencies, identity access management systems, and fraud prevention measures.
Maximize capital efficiency by constructing and administering comprehensive budgets for IT operations, external advisory, software licensing, system upgrades, and strategic integrations.
Guarantee total data integrity, audit readiness, access security, and full regulatory traceability to uphold strict industry quality and compliance benchmarks.
Drive organizational synergy through close partnership with operations, engineering, logistics, commercial sales, quality control, human resources, and executive leadership.
Enhance end-user support services by establishing clear incident communication, driving ticket root-cause analysis, and elevating operational performance metrics.
Synthesize operational efficiency data to determine the ideal balance between internal resources and external vendor expertise.
Present compelling ROI analyses and business cases for significant capital investments and operational delivery model shifts to executive stakeholders.
What You Bring
10+ Years of progressive leadership within Information Technology Management, Enterprise Resource Planning, or overall technology governance, including at least 5 Years owning budget allocations and external provider relationships in Manufacturing Operations or Distribution Environments.
Demonstrated mastery managing Hybrid IT Service Delivery Models, Vendor Management, and multi-partner operational frameworks with lean internal teams.
Extensive expertise in Mid-Market Manufacturing ERP Platforms (with direct experience in Epicor Systems highly preferred).
Practical oversight capability in Cybersecurity Posture Governance, Risk Assessment Mitigation, and technical standard evaluation.
Proven ability to translate operational objectives like Inventory Optimization, Process Automation, and Quality Standardization into strategic technology solutions.
Deep understanding of Traceability Systems, Regulatory Compliance, and Audit Readiness Protocols within regulated manufacturing ecosystems (experience with SQF Frameworks highly preferred).
Familiarity executing within structured governance environments utilizing accountability scorecards, such as the Entrepreneurial Operating System (EOS).
Superior Cross-Functional Communication and Stakeholder Collaboration capability across every organizational layer.
Compensation & Total Rewards
Base Salary Range: $118,000 – $187,000 per year.
Bonus Potential: Eligible for an annual performance bonus based on company and individual goal achievement.
