Title: Sr. Scrum Master
Project Duration: 6+ months
Location: New York City, NY - Onsite
We are seeking a skilled Scrum Master / Project Manager with Payments domain expertise and will be responsible for managing and guiding agile teams, ensuring the successful delivery of payments-related projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
Manage end-to-end project delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality constraints.
Coordinate with product owners, stakeholders, and development teams to prioritize and manage the product backlog.
Remove impediments to team progress and ensure smooth communication across teams.
Monitor project progress, prepare reports, and communicate status to stakeholders.
Ensure compliance with payments industry regulations, security standards, and best practices.
Apply payments domain knowledge to understand technical requirements, risks, and opportunities.
Drive process improvements and foster an agile mindset within the organization.
Preferred Qualifications:
Proven 10+ experience as a Scrum Master and/or Project Manager in the payment’s domain.
Strong knowledge of payment systems, cryptocurrencies, banking APIs, and related technologies.
Excellent facilitation, communication, and leadership skills.
Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PMI-ACP, or equivalent agile certification.
Experience with agile tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar.
Nice to Have:
Knowledge of regulatory standards such as PCI DSS, PSD2, GDPR etc.
Technical background in software development or payments infrastructure.
Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) used in payments solutions.
