A recognized health services network in New York is seeking a Field Network Administrator for a promising position with their team throughout Westchester County.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Setting: In-person (multiple locations)
Responsibilities:
- Support, maintain, and troubleshoot network infrastructure across multiple locations
- Resolve on-site network issues involving WAN, LAN, WiFi, routing, switching, and firewall technologies
- Provide third-tier support for connectivity and infrastructure-related problems
- Assist with server-related troubleshooting, maintenance, patching, and recovery tasks as needed
- Document network configurations, changes, procedures, and maintenance activities
Qualifications:
- 2 + years of experience in Network Administration or Infrastructure Support
- Cisco Networking experience, including routing and switching fundamentals
- Firewall Technology experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills beyond basic Desktop Support
- Experience supporting Network Infrastructure in a field-based or multi-site environment
- Reliable vehicle and willingness to travel extensively throughout the coverage area
Desired Skills:
- Network+ or A+ certification
- Server knowledge or experience
- Experience with Cisco Meraki, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, Citrix, Parallels RAS, SQL, IIS, load balancers, SonicWall firewalls, Cisco ISE, or Veeam Backup
- Experience with Network Monitoring tools
