Summary:The Engineer, Computer III provides advanced engineering support for enterprise virtualization, cloud integration, and infrastructure modernization initiatives within the DHA CIMPLE environment.
Responsibilities
Essential Job Functions:- Engineer, implement, and maintain VMware and Citrix virtualization environments.
- Support enterprise infrastructure modernization and technical refresh initiatives.
- Analyze system performance and implement optimization strategies.
- Perform advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
- Support high availability, disaster recovery, and backup solutions.
- Assist with cloud integration and hybrid infrastructure initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, RMF, and operational standards.
Qualifications
Necessary Skills and Knowledge:- Advanced knowledge of VMware and Citrix technologies.
- Understanding of enterprise systems engineering, virtualization, and cloud integration.
- Knowledge of networking, storage, server administration, and cybersecurity principles.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to support complex enterprise IT environments.
Minimum Qualifications:- Three (3) years of technical experience in support of VMWare or Citrix projects.
- The contractor shall have a TOP SECRET (TS) facility clearance (FCL) with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) access (TS/SCI).
Preferred Qualifications:- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and enterprise storage technologies.
