Responsibilities
This Scrum Master is going to be a key part of a large cloud project. In this role, you will provide project management, as needed, for software release and operational task management, coach internal and external scrum team members on SAFe Essential.
The successful candidate will be an accomplished Scrum Master with Medicare or healthcare Project Management experience. The candidate must be capable of working in a dynamic environment, ensuring the timely delivery of quality work products using SAFe Agile methodologies.
- Plan and facilitate Agile/Scrum activities including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, demos, backlog refinement, board reviews, and retrospectives.
- Lead time-boxed sprint planning and execution to ensure predictable delivery.
- Maintain JIRA and other information radiators to provide transparency into team progress and performance.
- Act as a liaison between development teams and product management, ensuring adherence to appropriate Agile processes.
- Collaborate with clients and end users to gather and clarify business requirements.
- Identify and remove impediments that hinder development or prevent the team from achieving established goals and milestones.
- Provide reporting on team capacity, velocity, and performance against commitments.
- Serve as an advisor for up to two medium-sized Agile teams or one large Agile team.
- Support quality assurance and cross-functional team capability areas as needed.
- Perform general project management and coordination activities.
- Train new team members on SAFe Agile methodology and best practices.
- May coach and mentor less-experienced professionals.
- May serve as a team or task lead.
